Why Plan2 needs location access?
The apps may need access to location for various reasons as listed below:
- Visitor / Buyer app:In order to list the business in your vicinity, we might need to access the location, when your app is opened.
- Delivery app:To make sure that the order / service is getting delivered to the correct address or to find directions using Maps, we might need user's current locaion while app is in opened state.
- Business app:At the time of registration, business needs to specify their exact location and also while receiving a delivery order or service at home order, it would be a lot helpful for the business to see the exact location of delivery or exact location of delivering the service.
Why Plan2 needs file access?
Plan2 apps might require access to files as well, in various situations. A few situations are listed below:
- Visitor / Buyer app:The visitors may want to report a poor product delivery or service and may need to upload the image file or video file etc. captured in their phone at the time of incidence. The access to the files would be required only when the app is open and Plan2 will never access files / folders when the app is not opened or without user's authorization, unless they upload it deliberately.
- Delivery app:The Plan2 Delivery app allows the delivery person to upload the Proof of Delivery (PoD) images at the time of delivery of order or service. The access to the files would be required only when the app is open and Plan2 will never access files / folders when the app is not opened or without user's authorization, unless they upload it deliberately.
- Business app:The business would need to upload the picture of products / services to enlist them for sale. It isn't necessary that every business would click picture on their own. Mostly they might prefer to upload the picture provided to them by the manufacturer clicked in a decent environment of a studio or so. The access to the files would be required only when the app is open and Plan2 will never access files / folders when the app is not opened or without user's authorization, unless they upload it deliberately.
Why Plan2 needs camera access?
Camera access is required in all three apps at various levels. The camera is accessed only to allow the user to click the images with their prior permission, once they click the icon given within the app. It is never accessed automatically or without user's permission and there's no intent to break user's privacy through the camera. We completely respect the privacy and will use the image clicked and submitted for app purposes only.:
- Visitor / Buyer app:Plan2 visitors may want to upload the proof of delivery (PoD) or may report any complaints in the products / services received. They may also use camera to scan a QR code at the time of clock-in / clock-out, utilize booking or accept a package at the time of click & collect or delivery.
- Delivery app:Plan2 Delivery app may require access to the camera to click the pictures for Proof of Delivery (PoD) at the time of delivery of a product or service (before and after pictures) or to confirm the proof of delivery (PoD) by scanning the QR code at the time of delivery of the product or service to ensure they are delivering at the right place and to authorized user.
- Business app:In the Plan2 business app, camera is used more extensively for a wider range. It is not only to access the camera to take pictures of the products but also, for scanning QR codes while click & collect, clock-in / clock-out or deliveries.
Account deletion / removal
